History

Mark W. Iobst
Standard Data Corporation's Chairman of the Board Mark W. Iobst started the company in 1959 and incorporated it two years later. One of the first data processing service bureaus to specialize in employee benefit administration, the company has experienced steady growth for the past half century.

Solutions
Standard Data continued to grow quickly, as did its ability to provide solutions for larger companies and additional markets. In 1994, the company acquired its Image Processing Center in Ewing, New Jersey, and then just two years later established its first offshore data processing operation in Montego Bay, Jamaica, West Indies. In 2006, SDC relocated its offshore processes to Hyderabad, India and Manila, Philippines to further expand our data processing offerings.

Mission
Standard Data Corporation’s company logo, a Keystone, reflects SDC's commitment to deliver Keystone type solutions and support by which associated elements of a business may depend. For centuries, the Keystone has symbolized the element of integral strength in a unified solution. It is Standard Data Corporation’s mission to perform to that extreme degree of reliability. The numbers inside the keystone represent a historical reference to IBM's original data processing cards.
