Mark W. Iobst, Chairman of the Board
Creativity has been a running theme in the life of Standard Data Corporation's founder Mark Iobst. While his childhood dreams of becoming a sculptor were realized as a hobby rather than as his vocation, Mark Iobst nonetheless held tight to his belief in the importance of creativity. Fifty years ago when Mark founded Standard Data after a six year career with IBM, he did so with the strong belief that the best solutions come from an open and creative mind. Says Mark, "Anything can have an art form to it. At Standard Data, we believe it's important to combine business skills with technical skills and creative skills." It is an equation that has worked well for Mark and Standard Data Corporation.
Over the past four decades, Mark has taken the company from a one-man operation to a corporation with four data and image processing locations, where an excess of 90 million documents can be processed each year. Today, Mark serves as a senior advisor to the SDC leadership team.
Mark is also an ardent patron of the arts and values his long-standing relationship with the artist, Nathan Wasserberger. The artist's paintings fill Mark's home in Scottsdale, AZ and several of his paintings have been used to promote SDC's theme, "Service is Also an Art Form."
Tony Andretta, President
Tony has virtually grown up in the imaging, data capture, and data processing business since getting his first introduction to Standard Data as a messenger as he was attending college at Fordham University. He was able to skip some rungs on the ladder by returning to the company as an account coordinator upon graduation. A combination of drive and a "passion for solutions" enabled Tony to quickly advance through the ranks as programmer, operations manager and senior projects manager. As Executive Vice President, Tony was directly responsible for the company's key acquisitions of its Amityville, Princeton and Jamaican facilities.
Now the President having overall responsibility for all of Standard Data business strategies and operations, Tony believes that his and the company's success has been built on solution-oriented service. "I don’t try to sell to clients. I listen and try to understand their problem so I can figure out a way to provide them with a solution."

In the years that followed her promotion to manager, Mary expanded her knowledge of imaging, enabling her to broaden her job description to include Project and Account Management.
